Responding to COVID-19

We write in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak which continues to spread globally.

As you are aware, the impact of COVID-19 is fast-evolving and is causing disruptions to supply chains for many businesses.

Hymix has formed a task force to manage the implications of COVID-19.  Our two key priorities are:

  • To safeguard the health and safety of our employees and their families; and
  • To minimise the impact of COVID-19 on our customers.

Hymix has implemented policies to ensure we protect our employees and minimise the spread of COVID-19 and to minimise supply disruptions, via our business continuity planning.

Hymix’s products are almost wholly sourced and manufactured locally from one of our 27 sites in QLD, NSW and Victoria. We do import some raw materials, including additives, steel fibres and some equipment. Hymix is in regular contact with a range of suppliers of critical items to determine if there is any impact on our supply chains, and we have assessed that these suppliers comply with Australian customs regulations.

Hymix will continue to monitor this situation and we will continue to keep you updated as the situation evolves.
